Finding a therapist who feels safe, compassionate, and genuine is an important step toward healing and growth.

But it can also feel overwhelming…

…especially when you're carrying pain, grief, uncertainty, or the weight of life's challenges. I know firsthand how important it is to find someone who is both compassionate and clinically skilled. At several points in my own life, I have sat in the client's chair, searching for a therapist who could offer not only expertise, but also genuine understanding, warmth, and hope. Those experiences shaped my belief that healing happens best within a safe, trusting relationship where you feel truly seen and supported.

My path to becoming a therapist has been deeply shaped by my own experiences with loss and healing. In 2002, our fourth of six sons, Benjamin, died unexpectedly. The grief and post-traumatic stress that followed changed the course of my life and led me to seek a deeper understanding of trauma, bereavement, resilience, and hope. While I would never have chosen that journey, it has profoundly shaped the empathy, compassion, and presence I bring to my work with clients today.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), mother, and trauma-informed yoga and wellness professional (ERYT-500)l, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my work. For more than a decade, I have been passionate about helping others reconnect with themselves through approaches that honor the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. My work is grounded in compassion-focused practices, mindfulness, and somatic awareness. With an eclectic approach based in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), polyvagal theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR-informed techniques, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Gottman Method for couples therapy (Level 2), I work toward supporting healing for individuals and couples from trauma, grief, and life's most difficult challenges.

I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Messiah University, a CACREP-accredited program, and completed my professional training across the Washington, DC metro area, Colorado, and Texas.

Today, I work with individuals and couples navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I strive to create a warm, inclusive, and supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and accepted, just as they are. I believe that every person has a unique story, inherent worth, and an innate capacity for healing and growth.

Whether you are carrying the weight of loss, feeling stuck, or simply longing for peace and connection,

my aim is to walk alongside you with compassion and curiosity as you walk your own path toward healing and growth.
